Fork Entry Bars
There may be scenarios in which your racking is used to store flat stock products rather than palletised goods. In this case, it’s likely that you will need to provide clearance between the racking and the goods, in order to make it easier, safer and more efficient for forklifts to load and unload stock from the racks.
A fork entry bar, sometimes known as a fork clearance bar, is a simple and effective way to provide this clearance in almost any racking system. Two fork entry bars are installed in the space between racking beams, creating 2 ½ inches of clearance between the load beams and the load itself. Forklifts can then quickly retrieve the goods without worrying about causing damage to the racking or stock.
Invicta Racking’s fork entry bars can be adapted to suit a wide range of racking formats, and are an ideal way to retrofit an existing system to provide additional flexibility. They are particularly useful if you are trying to limit or reduce your reliance on pallets, or only require a limited amount of storage space for palletised goods.
