End of Aisle Barriers
The dangers of mechanical handling equipment (MHE) are well regarded, and the focus is rightly placed on safe operation and vehicle awareness. Lapses in concentration and focus do happen, however, and precautions need to be put in place for the damage vehicles can cause. Our end-of-aisle barriers do exactly this, and are an ideal way to protect both people and racking.
End-of-aisle barriers are designed to absorb and deflect the damage caused by stray vehicles in high-traffic areas, preventing them from colliding with racking. The benefits of this are threefold: vehicle operators are protected from harm, racking is protected from damage, and the contents of the racking bear no risk of falling as a result of the impact.
End-of-aisle barriers are built from high-grade, shock-absorbent steel, and tested to the highest European safety standards. They can also be deployed in areas other than at the end of aisles, such as to fence lanes of foot traffic alongside vehicles. Invicta Racking can fit swing gates to adapt to this purpose, and also provides a range of high visibility finishes.
With a complementary visit from one of our dedicated project managers, we’ll get a complete picture of your space, and propose a suitable end-of-aisle barrier for your business. These can range from single-rail barriers for single runs, to double-rail barriers for back-to-back racks, keeping the far ends of your racking safe from stray forklifts.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the design and installation of racking and racking accessories, we’ve raised the bar for both safety and quality. Speak to us today to arrange a complementary site visit, and learn how our end of aisle barriers can complement your existing safety solutions.
