Warehouses tend to be the least restrictive areas in which we commonly fit racking. Yet the variety of clients we work with means that every space is treated differently. Providing a complementary site visit as standard, our dedicated project managers visit each warehouse individually to get a complete picture of the space and its uses, before suggesting the perfect racking solution.
The horizontal and vertical space afforded by most warehouses allows us to fit extremely high density racking, taking advantage of the available floor and head space. With a variety of aisle layouts available, we can accommodate different picking procedures, vehicles, and even an automated selection and retrieval (AS/RS) system. Our multi-tier systems can even provide direct access to multiple levels of racking for manual retrieval of individual items.
We recognise that warehouses are also often flexible spaces, which need to cater to changes in approach and shifts in demand. As such, we work primarily with modular racking formats, which can be fitted and removed with minimal disruption to your business. We commonly fit racking with an eye to future expansion or relocation, and are often asked to make return visits to augment existing racking.
